Alphabet.Inc., the parent company of Google, has introduced its generative AI chatbot “Bard” in Europe and Brazil.
The Bard chatbot launch had been delayed in the European Union. The Irish Data Protection Commission claimed that the company had not provided enough details about privacy protection. The company said it has subsequently had meetings with regulatory authorities to provide reassurances about transparency and user control concerns.
Amar Subramanya is an engineering vice president of Bard. He said, “Users can choose to prevent the AI from collecting their data.”
Bard is a phenomenal AI chatbot that will revolutionize the AI industry. It can reply to your question by speaking. This chatbot can also give responses to your image prompts. Users can also change the style or tone of responses. The options include casual, professional, simple, and short; this feature is highly similar to Microsoft Bing chat.
Google senior product director Jack Krawczyk wrote, “It can also collaborate with users in over 40 languages, including Chinese, German, Irish and Spanish.”
“Sometimes hearing something out loud can assist you in approaching your idea differently. It is especially helpful if you want to hear the correct pronunciation of a word or listen to a poem or script,” Jack added.
The increasing demand for AI has motivated many huge investors to put their money into developing AI software. Many companies have been investing billions into this. Elon Musk has also announced the AI startup xAI. He gathered experts in his team, including ex-workers of OpenAI and Google.
Bard will face a lot of competition in the future. This AI tool will improve over time because it is now experimental. Google is known for perfection, and when the trial stage is over, Bard will underscore other AI tools.
“Bard is an experiment,” it is written on the official website of Bard.
