About the Role:
Love’s Travel Stop is hiring Restaurant Team Members for our Subway/Dunkin’ counter in Canaan, NY. If you enjoy serving people, staying active, and working with food in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you. As part of our team, you’ll greet customers, prepare fresh food, operate the cash register, and ensure everything is clean and safe.
Pay Rate:
💵 $18 – $19 per hour
What You’ll Do:
Greet guests with courtesy and enthusiasm
Operate a cash register with accuracy and efficiency
Prepare and serve food following Subway/Dunkin standards
Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation protocols
Handle food equipment including slicers, fryers, ovens, and toasters
Clean the restaurant dining area, trash stations, and kitchen equipment
Perform scheduled tasks like restocking and safety checks
Follow all health, FDA, and Love’s safety procedures
Keep workstations clean and organized
Uphold grooming and uniform standards
Complete other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with basic food prep and handling cleaning tasks
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Strong work ethic and team mindset
Ability to follow instructions, safety protocols, and sanitation rules
