What We Expect from You:
Northwest Ambulance Paramedics provide the highest level of patient care and exceptional customer service to our patients and partnered facilities. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for supervising patient care during transport and ensuring safe, efficient, and compassionate service.
Responsibilities
Treat and transport patients of all ages, from neonates to adults.
Use advanced equipment including IV pumps, ICU ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
Perform paramedic-level procedures: intubation, airway management, needle thoracostomy, IV/IO access, and more.
Collaborate with a variety of team members in a positive work environment.
Complete dispatch assignments efficiently and provide thorough documentation.
Operate ambulances safely and in accordance with Washington State laws.
Maintain ambulance cleanliness, stock supplies, and ensure equipment readiness.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, management, and healthcare staff.
Uphold company values, uniform standards, and confidentiality requirements.
Requirements
Skills:
Strong communication, customer service, and leadership skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm under pressure.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Education & Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current NREMT-P, WA State Paramedic, or out-of-state paramedic certification.
Required: PHTLS, PALS, ACLS.
Preferred: CCP-C or FP-C.
Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
Other:
Must be 18+ years old.
Valid driver’s license (held for at least 2 years) with a clean driving record.
Maximum of 2 citations in the past 36 months; serious driving offenses may disqualify.

Wages: $32.85 – $36.33 per hour
Shift Type: 24-hour shifts, start times between 6:00-7:00 AM.
