About the Role:
As a Delivery Station Warehouse Associate, you will be at the final stop in Amazon’s delivery process — preparing customer orders for delivery. This fast-paced and active role involves loading, sorting, staging, and moving packages with the help of cutting-edge technology.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You may be responsible for:
Receiving and preparing inventory for delivery
Sorting, scanning, and preparing orders using handheld devices
Building, wrapping, and transporting pallets and packages
Lifting up to 49 lbs and maneuvering carts and dollies
Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs during shifts
Working at heights up to 40 feet (at some locations)
Work Environment:
Active surroundings with forklifts, carts, and other machinery
Temperature can range from 60°F to over 90°F
Hearing protection and other PPE provided
Relaxed dress code with required safety shoes (Amazon may offer a $110 Zappos gift code for approved footwear)
