For those of us on the go, our phones are our main means of connecting to the world. We use them to catch up with our friends, family, and co-workers. And, of course, getting our hands on the world of social media.

These platforms are hugely popular and help to keep people connected across huge distances. In short, we rely on our smartphones for a huge amount. So, when the Internet cuts out on our iPhones – or even on our iPads – we can be left distinctly frustrated.

In this article, we’ll be taking a look at some of the most common problems if you are connected to WiFi but have no internet iPhone.

Reboot iPhone and Power Cycle Router

If your iPhone is connected to WiFi but has no internet, try rebooting your iPhone and power cycling your router. To reboot your iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the slide to power off slider appears. Then, slide it off to turn off your phone.

Wait 10-15 seconds, and then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button to turn the phone back on. To power cycle your router, locate the power button and press it to turn off your router.

Wait 10-15 seconds, then press the power button once more to turn it on. Once you’ve rebooted your iPhone and power cycled your router, test the connection again to make sure it’s working properly.

Check if the Router Is Connected to the Internet

If you have WiFi but no internet, then start by turning off your iPhone and router. Then, wait one minute before turning them both back on. After the router has restarted, check to see if the internet connection has been established.

If the router is still not connected to the internet, try unplugging the power cord for both your iPhone and router, wait several seconds, and then plug everything back in. Then, check the status of your internet connection again.

If the router still isn’t connected to the internet, move your router closer to the modem and try again. If this fails, contact your Internet Service Provider for assistance.

Verify WiFi Network Settings

If the WiFi network is visible in settings, but you cannot connect to the internet, it is likely that your iPhone’s DNS settings need to be reset. This can be done by going to Settings, choosing General, and then selecting Reset. Then tap on Reset Network Settings.

This should clear the DNS information, allowing the iPhone to connect to the internet. Another potential issue could be with the router itself. If the network is visible on the settings page, it usually means the router is functioning properly, but the device still isn’t connecting; resetting the router might be an option.

You can do this simply by unplugging the power to the router, waiting a few minutes, then plugging the power back in. If you are not still connected to the internet after doing these steps, get help from we fix iPhones for the best possible results.
